Documents for examination
The more precise the source data, the lower the risk that an important conclusion will be impossible because documents, a date, the quantity of goods or information on handling conditions are missing.
What to prepare
About the goods
Photographs of the goods, packaging and labelling, product name, batch, quantity, manufacture date and shelf life.
About the transaction
The contract, specification, order, delivery note, Universal Transfer Document (УПД), receipt, invoice, acceptance record or another document.
About the dispute
The claim, response, correspondence, records, court documents, reports and test records.
For questions about storage and transport
- temperature logs and data logger downloads, if available;
- dates and times of loading, delivery, acceptance and discovery of changes;
- a description of the packaging, vehicle and warehouse;
- inspection records, photographs and video from different stages;
- storage conditions specified by the manufacturer and in the contractual documents.
For a forensic examination
The key sources are the procedural document appointing the examination, the court's final questions and the materials officially provided to the expert. If a candidate is only being proposed to the court, draft questions and a description of the object can be sent in advance for an information letter.
