Product quality.
Causes of spoilage.
Grounds for a dispute.

Examination of quality, commercial condition, spoilage, value, storage and transport conditions, packaging and labelling. For consumers, businesses, representatives and courts.

Commodity assessment and laboratory tests serve different purposes. We determine the required scope of examination from the object and questions.

Goods

Choose the object of examination

From an individual item to a batch of products, packaging and a set of documents.

Tasks

What needs to be established

Quality and commercial condition

The products' actual condition, observable defects, damage and loss of marketable appearance.

Spoilage and handling conditions

Comparing the condition of the goods with the submitted information on storage, transport, temperature and packaging.

Value of the goods or batch

Determining value as of a specified date, taking identification, quantity and actual condition into account.

Packaging and labelling

Examination of packaging, product information, dates, batch and other relevant information.

Court-appointed examination

Examination following appointment by a court, answering specialist commodity questions.

Report review

Checking competence, materials, methods, the examination section and the justification of another report.

Limits

A commodity examination does not replace laboratory tests

A commodity expert examines

The condition of goods, visible defects, packaging, labelling, documents, storage and transport information, and value where that question is asked.

A laboratory establishes

Microbiological, chemical, toxicological, veterinary and other specialist parameters requiring relevant methods and equipment.

How we work

From materials to a written result

1Submitting materials. Photographs, documents, a description of the situation and questions.
2Preliminary assessment. Competence, the need for inspection, and the scope and format of work are determined.
3Agreement. Cost, time frame, list of objects and missing materials.
4Examination. Inspection, document analysis, recording signs and performing the necessary commodity examination work.
5Result. A written document and conclusions on the questions in the agreed format.
Geographical coverage

Moscow and the Moscow Region

The main service region. For other regions, remote work based on documents or another agreed procedure may be possible if the nature of the examination allows.

Preliminary assessment

Send materials for a preliminary assessment

Describe the situation and attach the available documents and photographs. After reviewing them, the work format, required materials, cost and time frame can be determined.

  • we will check whether the task falls within commodity examination competence;
  • we will determine whether documents and an inspection are sufficient;
  • if specialist tests are needed, we will identify the laboratory component;
  • we will indicate a possible format for the result.
